英語語法倒裝句怎么做

　　《警惕，高考英語陷阱》中有這樣一道題：

　　Little Jim is going to spend his holiday in Paris, _________ lives his uncle.

　　A. which B. who C. where D. that

　　【分析】許多人一看到空格后的謂語動詞lives，就以為空格處一定要填一個作主語的詞，從而誤選B或D。其實，此題的最佳答案應(yīng)是C，where lives his uncle 為倒裝詞序，此句可改為 and there lives his uncle 或 and his uncle lives there。類似的如：

　　He was led to a dark corner, where sat his old father.

　　他被引進(jìn)一個黑暗的角落，他的老父親坐在那兒。

　　Towards evening we reached the village, where lived her parents.

　　到傍晚的時候，我們到了那個村莊，她的父母就住在那兒。

　　At last we found the spot he told me, where lay a dead dog.

　　最后我們找到了他告訴我們的那個地點，那兒躺著一條死狗。
